涂样量对纳克级硼同位素测定的影响

摘要: 在石墨存在下 ,用正热电离质谱法 ,使用Cs2 BO2+离子测定了含 1 0 0、50、2 0ng和 1 0ngB的NISTSRM 951硼酸标样中的硼同位素的组成。结果表明 ,随着涂样量的减少 ,硼同位素丰度测定比值 ( 1 1 B/1 0 B)和测定精度有所下降。本文也给出了VG -3 54正热电离质谱测定纳克级硼同位素组成的最佳条件。结果表明 ,当涂样量大于 1 0 0ngB时 ,硼同位素丰度比的测量精度最佳 ,1 0ngB是正热电离质谱法使用法拉第杯检测硼同位素组成的最低限量。本研究为开展低硼含量的海洋微体古生物 ,古土壤 ,河水等地质样品中的硼同位素组成质谱测定提供了依据。Abstract: The boron isotopic composition of NIST 951 boric acid has been determinated by positive thermal ionization mass spectrometry based on the measurement of the Cs 2BO + 2 ion with coating graphite on the filament substrate. In the meantime, the effect of the loading quantity ranging from 100 ng to 10 ng B on the boron isotopic ratios and precision has also been compared. The results show that the best precision is acquired by loading more than 100 ng B and the lowest detection limit is 10 ng B loaded using a Faraday cup detector. This method is helpful for the determination of isotopic composition of lower content boron (nano-gram level) in the geological samples.
