Abstract
A GC/MS method with solid phase micro extraction (SPME) was established for the determination of tetraethyl lead in surface water, and the optimum conditions with SPME was studied. The detection limit of tetraethyl lead was enormously improved when extraction temperature was 30 ℃ and 100 μm PDMS was selected as the extraction head. Under the optimum conditions, the detection limit of tetraethyl lead in surface water is 1.24 ng/L, the relative standard deviation of the method is under 3.4%, the recoveries of tetraethyl lead in surface water are 84.2%-98.8%, and recoveries of tetraethyl lead in waste water are 66.0%-102%.
