Determination of Cu, Pb, Cr, Ni and Sn in Medium Chain Triglycerides by Microwave Digestion-ICP-MS

  • In order to meet the national drug safety limits of China, the contents of trace harmful elements of copper, lead, chromium, nickel and tin in medium chain triglycerides (MCT) were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) with microwave digestion. Under optimal analytical conditions, the linear ranges are 0—30 μg/L with the correlative coefficient of 0.999 4—0.999 9. The detection limits of the method are 0.013—0.057 μg/kg. The relative standard derivations (RSDs) are in the range of 1.2%—6.7%. The average recoveries at three levels of the method are between 94.0% and 110.0%. The national standard material GBW10018 chicken was analyzed by the method, and the measured element values were in accord with the standard values.
