Abstract
The volatile components of Cinnamomum camphora xylem were extracted by solid phase microextraction(SPME) and were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The separation efficiency of different chromatographic column was compared as well. The results show that GC/MS spectrometric analysis with DB-5MS isolates 51 components, which contains 43 kinds of volatile content, and the proportion of the peak area of volatile components is 97.09%. The separation efficiency and the peak shape of GC/MS spectrometric analysis with DB-5MS are superior to that with DBWAXetr. Based on the identification of the volatile components, (1S)-α-pinene(4.57%), camphene(2.14%), bicyclo3.1.0-4-methyl-1-(1-methylethyl)-hex-2-ene(4.16%), β-pinene(2.3%), 1-methyl-2-(1-methylethyl)-benzene(2.15%), D-limonene(7.49%), eucalyptol(13.85%), camphor(38.71%), (R)-4-terpineol(1.74%), α-terpineol(2.40%), safrole(2.96%), α-cubebene(4.36%) and caryophyllene(1.92%) account for most of them. The method can provide a reference for the further development and utilization of Cinnamomum camphora in medicine, food and chemical industry, etc.
