Intercomparison Analysis of Particles on Nuclear Signatures Interlaboratory Measurement Evaluation Programme (NUSIMEP-7)

  • In order to improve the measuring capability of analysis of uranium isotope ratios of particles, the international comparison of particle analysis has been held regularly by Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements of Joint Research Centre of European Commision. In 2010, the laboratory of particle analysis in China Institute of Atomic Energy participated the comparison aiming “uranium isotope amount ratios in uranium particles” which subjects to Nuclear Signatures Interlaboratory Measurement Evaluation Programme (NUSIMEP-7). 235U/238U, 234U/238U and 236U/238U of particles including the single and double isotopic depositions of uranium in carbon planchets was measured. The results show more than 90% datum are within the satisfactory results, that confirm our capability of particle analysis.
