Determination of MAT in Pork by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

  • In order to establish a method using in pretreatment and GC/MS determination for pork samples from pigs bred with MAT added into forage. 42 samples from different parts of 6 pigs was soaked in saline and grinded,then extracted with diethyl ether. The interior standard of quantitative analysis was MT. The experiment result showed that all samples were negative except one from right ear of No.6 pig contained 2.2μg MAT in 10g ear meat. The experiment suggested that MAT can be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by GC/MS.
