Recent Progress of Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS)

Recent progress of ICP-MS was reviewed, and the developing direction of the ICP-MS system in the future was discussed, and the diagrams and performances of new types of ICP-MS instruments were given. The chemical pre-treatment, hyphenated techniques and methodology research and applications of species analysis were discussed. The main problems with ICP-MS and the solutions available were outlined. 68 references were cited.
