Present Situation and Prospect of the Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer Array

This paper introduces the working method of the quadrupole mass spectrometer array, with characteristics of small volume, light weight and low power, and the key skills during its research. According to the ways to work out the key skills, the quadrupole mass spectrometer array is divided into two kinds-a kind supported at one end and another supported at two ends. Besides, the third kind-a inset kind is put forward according to the reality in China. Finally, the prospect of wide use of the quadrupole mass spectrometer array in the fields of space, research, manufacturing and environmental monitoring is expected.
