MS Analysis on Intermediate during the Synthesis of Fluorene-based Electroluminescent Materials

Abstract
EI and ESI mass spectrograph of a novel compound, 2,7-bis (4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1, 3, 2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-9,9-dioctylfluorene is reported. Relationship between the daughter ions and the parent ion was verified by tandem mass spectrometry (MS-MS) analysis and the fragmental route is discussed. This provides a firm base for its structure identification.
