Evaluation of Urine Preparation Method to Matrix Effect in HPLC-MS-Based Metabonomics

  • The purpose of the present work was the evaluation of matrix effects due to the sample preparation approaches using RRLC-ESIMS technique. The result shows that urine dilution has the least relative matrix effect. Additionally, in an effort to reduce sample preparation time for high throughput studies and avoid analyte losses, urine dilution is more suitable to urinary metabonomic research.
