Study on Volatile Components of the Fruit from Phellodendron Amurense Rupr

Abstract
The volatile oil of the fruit from phellodendron Amurense Rupr.is obtained by simultaneous distillation and extraction equipment. The volatile oil is analyzed by GC/MS and about 23 compounds were founded. The constituents have been identified,the major ones being myrcene(36.32%),β-citronellol(25.30%),α-pinenc(14.05%),4-carene(1.96%),2-methyl-6-methylene-1,7-octadien-3-ol(1.85%),α-santalene(1.72%),Geranylacetate(1.57%),tricyclene(1.56%),α-cadinol(1.43%)and calarene(1.21%).
