Determination of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons(PAHs) in Mussel and Oyster by GC/MS

Abstract
A capillary column GC/MS combination technique has been utilized to quantify the PAHs in mussel and oyster samples. After ultrosonic-extracting and isolating by column chromatography, the samples were measured by GC/MS with Selected Ion Monitoring mode. Five kinds of PAHs were identified and quantitated in those samples.
