Problems and Solutions in Measuring U and Th of Uranium Series Dating Technique by Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry

According to the ability of MAT 262 mass spectrometer and the characteristics of U and Th isotopes,the article studies the problems in measuring U and Th of uranium series dating technique,e.g.huge differences in U and Th natural abundance,fractionation effects,big peak trailer and external U and Th from spikes,and proposes suitable solutions by devising formulae in experiments on MAT 262 spectrometer.
