IMPROVEMENT SENSIBILITY AND PROTECTION RADIOACTIVITY CONTAMINATION TECHNIQUE FOR TIMS

  • There's no disruption and falling of sample from the filament to contaminate for the mass spectrometer, environment and operator by electroplating some qualities of uranium or plutonium onto the single rhenium filament and overlaying a thin layer of platinum on this sample. The ion curren observed for the uranium or plutonium with sample size of 100ng or 50ng is 2 ×10~(-14)A during the forty-sixty minutes.
