MS Charting and Mapping

MS charting and mapping can be used in identifying protein.By using enzymatic or chemical cleavage,modification and sequencing reaction ,with LC-MS or LC-MS/MS,scientists can gain more structural information so as to detect the composition and primary structure of protein,the sites of decoration in protein,mutation and deletion in genes.These two methods can be used in medical diagnosis and functional analysis of protein,as well as in proteome study.
