The CI-CAD Mass Spectrometric Decomposition Process of Azodiisobutyronitrile

  • Aim:To determine the mass spectrum and the mass spectrometric decomposition process of azodiisobutyronitrile.Method:using CI CAD MS/MS technology.Results:On the CI mass spectrum the main ion peaks are m/z165,m/z110 and m/z69.However,on the CI CAD MS/MS mass spectrum,the main ion peaks are m/z110,m/z69,m/z54 and m/z41.The main decomposition processes are:Thermal decomposition process with releasing N 2,i cleavage process caused by positive charge,and some rearrangement decomposition.
