MALDI-TOF-MS ANALYSIS OF A NEW KIND OF CROWN ETHERS

MALDI-TOF mass technique assisted by DHB matrix was used to investigate a series of new synthetic crown ether compounds. The molecular weights of The crown ethers were confirmed on the basis of The information provided by The dominant protonated molecular ions and the corresponding sodium and potassium adduction ions. The experiment results show that MALDI mass spectrometric method is a rapid and reliable one to get MW information of the crown ether with high melting point.
