Gas Analysis in Space Capsule by Tekmar3000/GC/MS

82 volatile organic compounds (VOCs) of eight organic sorts in a space capsule where four peopIe lived were identified and quantified by GC/MS sampling system-Tekmar 3000 Purge & Trap Concentrator that has been slightly modified,and two kinds of capillary chromatography columns,polar column and non-polar column have also been used. The atmosphere toxlcology has been preliminarily assessed, and that provides the basis for purifying the hazardous gases in sealed space.
