Abstract

With pure 'Li_2CO_3 and 'Li_2CO_3, a calibrated mass spectrometric measurement of the isotopic ratio of lithium occurring in Zigong, Sichuan has been carried out. The absolute isotopic abundance was found to be 7.50 (±0.08) atom％ 'Li and 92.50 (±0.08) atom％ ~7Li. The atomic weight of lithium is 6.9409±0.0007.
