Computer Application to Subtraction Spectra in Mass Spectra

This paper describes the general method in which the computer is usedfor calculating the subtraction spectra according to relative intensity of somepeaks. The method is used not only for reducing background from mixturespectra and separating two components from two abjacent peaks of bad resolu-tion of GC, but also for reducing the component which has been matched wellor known in a completely overlapped mass spectrum of GC.
