Analysis of Liquid Derived from Coliquefaction of Shenhua Coal and Sawdust by GC/MS

  • GC/MS analytical technology was adopted to determine the liquid products derived from coliquefaction of Shenhua coal and sawdust in this contribution. The coliquefied oil was analyzed qualitatively and quasi- quantitatively by utilizing NIST standard reference database and the peak area normalization techniques, and all the components were classified. The results show that the oil can be divided into saturated hydrocarbon, aromatic hydrocarbon and polar compounds. The aromatics, which content is approximately 87.7% of the oil, dominates the liquid. The content of saturated hydrocarbons, which is constituted approximately of 90%, of aliphatic hydrocarbons, approximates 9.2% of the oil. And the content of polar compounds is 2.04%.
