Determination of Copper, Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead in Athletic Food by Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry

  • Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) was applied to determine copper, arsenic, cadmium, lead in athletic food using Sc, Ge, In, Bi as internal standard. The linear correlation factor for four elements are good (r>0.999). Recoveries of spiked samples were in the range of 88.5%-107.5% and precision was fine, and RSD is lower than 5.0%. The results showed close agreement with the reference values in three standard reference materials of GBW08503b,NBS1568,GBW08571. It indicated that the method is simple, sensitive ,accurate and short of analytical cycle, which can meet the demand for the determining copper, arsenic, cadmium, lead in athletic food.
