Analysis of Cellulase Exteacts from the Volatile Constituents of Herba Selaginellae by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

  • The cellulase was used for extracting the volatile constituents of the Herba Selaginellae. The effects of pH, the amounts and the fineness of cellulase on extraction were discussed. The average yield was 5.85%. Thirty one chemical components were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS ). The main compound of them is cedrol. The content of cedrol makes up 45.07%. The cellulase extraction (CE) method was made a camparison with distillation extraction (DSE) method.
