Abstract
Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) was the first choice for non-radioactive metal elemental analysis. In recent years, with the improvement of sensitivity and resolution, its application was increasing to determine radionuclides content and isotope ratios. On the discussing the significance of ICP-MS in applications of environmental radionuclides and isotope ratios, beyond 50 examples are listed, and its development is prospected.
