New Method of Resin Bead Technique in Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry

  • A new method of resin bead technique applied in mass spectrometric analysis is reported in the present paper. This method is the resin bead—perrhenic acid-glucose solution comprehensive loading technique. It is easy to implement in the laboratory. Using this method, the sensitivity of thermal ionization mass spectrometry has been enhanced more than one order of magnitude. The Pu is analyzed on a single filament with sample amount of 5-10 ng using Faraday cup as a collector. The external precision of measurement may be up to 0.1% at abandunt ratio of 3%.
