Determination of Germanium and Selenium in Teas by ICP-MS

  • Germanium and selenium in teas were mensurated by ICP-MS. A digestion method was established for germanium and selenium in teas. The microwave digestion condition was optimized from digestion system, proportion of acids and digestion procedure. The detection limit is in the range of 1.7-28.2 ng•L-1, with the relative standard deviations of 3.1%-10.0%, and the recoveries are 80.8%-95.9%. The method is simple, rapid and reliable.
