Determination of Cd in Human Hair by Spark Source Mass Spectrometry

The author proposed a method of calibration to determine accurately theCd concentration in human hair by SSMS. By using the emulsion responsecurve and single exposure, the Cd concentration calibration curve was obtain-ed, where corrections were made by taking into account the area cofactorsand background contribution. Finally, we also checked the reproducibility andthe reliability, and showed that the relative deviation of the measured datawas 14--21%,the measured results of the calibration and the common quanti-tative method agreed well with relative error only 11-18%.
