Analysis of the Essential Oil from Chrysanthemum indicum by GC/MS

  • The essential oil from the flowers of Chrysanthemum indicum in Henan was analyzed by capillary GC/MS method. Eighty-one components were separated and identified representing 93% of the total essential oil. The main chemical components were monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes, in which the content of camphor and borneol were most.
