Determination of Auramine O in Fishery Products by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography-Electrospray Tandem Mass Spectrometry

Abstract
Auramine O in fishery products was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectromety. Sample was ultrasonically extracted from homogenized samples with methanol, then concentrated and purified. Analytes were finally determined by electrospray ionization(ESI) in positive mode using multiple reactions monitoring(MRM). The method was validated, and good results were obtained with respect to spiked recovery .The linear range is from 2.5 to 100 μg•L-1.The average recoveries are between 78.9% and 92.1% in the spiked range of 5.0—20.0 μg•kg-1, its relative standard deviation is lower than 11%. The limit quantification(LOQ) is 0.5 μg•kg-1.
