Remote Site Fragmentation of Protonated Octadecylamine at Low Collisional Energies

Abstract
EI~+/CIDMS, CI~+/CIDMS of protonated octadecylamine dissociated from (C_(18)H_(37) NH_3)_2Col_4 and (C_(18)H_(37)NH_3)_2CoCl_4 are discussed at low translational energies, remote site fragmentation is observed in multiple collisions with argon. The internal energy required for remote site fragmentation is also estimated. These ions maybe contain more internal energy than that protonated from octadecylamine directely.
