Determination of 9 Migratory Heavy Metals in Textiles by Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry

  • Nine migratory heavy metals in textiles, including Sb, As, Pb, Cd, Cr, Co, Cu, Ni, Hg were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The detection limits are in the range of 0.01—0.49 μg/kg, the RSDs are less than 6.1%, and the recoveries of 9 migratory heavy metals are in the range of 90.0%—109.6%, which meet the determination requirements. 9 migratory heavy metals in 4 product classes of textiles, including products for babies, products with direct contact to skin, products without direct contact to skin and decoration materials were determined by ICP-MS. The results are satisfactory.
