Identification of Calcium Alkylbenzenesulfonates and Zinc Dithiophosphates Using FABMS
In this artical fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry was first used to identify lubricating oil additives, based and overbased calcium alkylbenzenesulfonates (BCAS and OCAS) and zinc dithiophosphates (ZDP). The influence of matrices on ion intensity was studied. The identification of ZDP of low concentration (2％) tested in lubricating oil was also discussed.
