The edible oil mixed with mineral oil was analyzed.The edible oil mixed with mineral oil was separated using column chromatography method. The fatty acids in the edible oil and the mineral oil were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method respectively. The edible oil and the mineral oil were identified using the infrared spectroscopy method. It is applied to identify the mineral oil in edible oils.
