Several Ideas of Restraining H3+ in EI Ion Source

  • The influence on the production of H3+ was analyzed under four main conditions: magnetic field, inlet sample quantity, cathode current and cathode voltage. The analysis result was well validated by experiment data. The basic influence trend of producing H3+ was got under four conditions. The conclusions were instructive to adjust the parameters of EI ion source and sampling quantity in analyzing natural hydrogen isotope by using low resolution mass spectrometer.
