Analysis of Secoiridoids in Gentiana scabra Bge. Extracts by HPLC-ESI-MSⁿ

A rapid method was developed to analyze the extract of the Gentiana scabra Bge. by using high performance liquid chromatograghy-electrospray ionization multi-stage tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI-MSⁿ). 5 compounds in Gentiana scabra Bge. are identified in the positive and negative mode. The research results demonstrate that the HPLC-ESI-MSⁿ can quickly identified the components in Gentiana scabra Bge. . It also can provide the information of the relative molecular mass and chemical structure of the compounds in the extract of the Gentiana scabra Bge. .
