Abstract:
Sulfur is constituent element of ores, fossil fuels and proteins, it plays a great role in human life. Recently, with the development of mass spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) has become an important technology for measurement and study of sulfur, and it has the broad application prospect in fields of environmental science, food safety, life science and geochemical. The progresses in the measurement of sulfur content, sulfur species and sulfur isotopes by ICP-MS were reviewed in this paper.
