Abstract:
Tandem mass spectra of strigolactones (SLs), a novel plant hormone, were studied in this paper with ESI-FTICR MS. The SORI CID tandem spectra of GR 24, 5-DS and Strigol were compared systemically. The neutral losses of D ring, H
2O and CO were the common dissociation pathway for all the SLs. Besides, the odd-electon daughter ion ABC+H
+• from M+H
+ can be dissociated for further dissociation, which bring more detailed structure information on the AB ring of SLs. The results are meaningful for qualititative and quantitative analysis of SLs in plants with mass spectrometry in the future.
