圆弧形电极离子阱质量分析器的理论模拟

Theoretical Simulations of an Arc-Shaped Electrode Ion Trap Mass Analyzer

  • 摘要: 为了给圆弧形电极离子阱质量分析器的实验研究提供可靠的科学依据,本工作从理论上研究了一种由不同半径的圆弧形电极所组成的线性离子阱。使用SIMION和AXSIM软件对设计的线性离子阱进行计算模拟。通过分析电极半径及其比例与离子阱内的电场分布关系,各种多极场成分分布、离子阱内离子运动轨迹、质谱峰形状、分辨率及离子逐出效率等,得到了圆弧形电极所组成的线性离子阱的优化结构。

     

    Abstract: In order to provide a reliable scientific basis for further experimental study, this paper presents a theoretical study of a linear ion trap composed of arc-shaped electrodes with different radii. Software SIMION and AXSIM were used to calculate and simulate the arc-shaped electrode ion trap(AEIT). By analyzing the relationship between the electric field and the ratio of the radii of the AEIT, higher order multipole fields distribution, ion trajectories in the ion trap, shapes of mass spectrometry peak, resolution and ion eject efficiency, AEITs with better performance were separated with others.
