Abstract:
A method of direct analysis in real time coupled with Orbitrap mass spectrometer was developed for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of Basic Orange Ⅱ and Auramine O in bean products. In qualitative analysis, the Full MS/Targeted MS
2 mode was applied to obtain the mass spectrum, bean products could be directly analyzed in the ionized area. DART parameters were systematically optimized to achieve the best detection performance. The component was identified by comparing with standard component and the report of relative researches as well as the full scan spectra and secondary spectra. In quantitative analysis, simple liquid extracted by 80% acetonitrile without further clean-up was used for sample preparation. Dip-it sampler was used for automatic sampling. The two pigments were subjected to gradient dilution by blank matrix solution, and both the limits of detection are 0.2 mg/L, and the linear relation in the range of 1.20 mg/L are well. The correlation coefficients are 0.997 2 and 0.999 4 for Basic Orange-Ⅱ and Auramine O. The method is rapid and accurate, and can provide reference for the qualitative and quantitative addition of pigments in foods.
