Abstract:
This paper reviewes the progress of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and its important role in the development of multi-residue analysis of pesticides. GC-MS technology is the starting point for the development of multi-residue analysis of pesticides. The development of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) technology created conditions for the detection of polar or thermounstable pesticides and their metabolites. High selectivity, high sensitivity and high throughput chromatography-mass spectrometry technology creates the condition for the realization of multi-residue detection of pesticides.
