质谱仪器的可靠性设计研究

Research on Reliability Design of Mass Spectrometer

  • 摘要: 通过借鉴军工领域成熟的可靠性应用经验,从可靠性设计角度对质谱仪器展开研究,分析了质谱仪器寿命周期的特点,子模块与系统可靠性的关系;阐述了质谱仪器可靠性设计的3个原则;结合电感耦合等离子体质谱仪的研制,介绍了降额设计、冗余设计、热设计、ESD防护设计、电磁辐射屏蔽设计5种可靠性设计方法,并列举了具体的设计案例。运用该可靠性设计原则和方法,研制出的电感耦合等离子体质谱仪,其性能稳定可靠,现已实现商品化。

     

    Abstract: The most prominent gap between domestic mass spectrometer and foreign products is the reliability level. In this paper, the reliability of mass spectrometer was studied from the point of view of reliability design by referring to the mature experience of reliability application in military industry. The characteristics of product life cycle was analyzed and the rule of “bathtub curve” was presented. The general composition of mass spectrometer included four basic parts: sampling and ion source module, ion transmission module, detector module, data acquisition control and upper computer module. This paper described the relationship between sub-module and system reliability, and introduced three principles of reliability design of mass spectrometer. Firstly, using mature raw materials and stereotyping technology; secondly, mastering the environment that products encounter in transportation, storage and use; thirdly, meeting the mutual requirements of manufacturing technology and debugging and testing technology. Combining with the development of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer, several reliability design methods were introduced, including reduction design, redundancy design, thermal design, ESD protection design, electromagnetic radiation shielding design and so on, these methods were illustrated by specific design cases. By applying reliability design principles and methods, a inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer was developed, which is stable and reliable, and has been commercialized.
