Abstract: In this paper EI and FAB mass spectra of a new hypocholes terolemic agent monacolin K were measured.Their Mass Spectra fragmentations of characteristic fragmentions were discussed on the basis of high resolution Mass spectra data.m/z 224 fragmention probably results from a rearrangement of three hydrogens.
