Determination of Organochlorine Pesticides and PCBs in Soil and Sediment by GC/MS

Abstract: A method of GC-SIM-MS for the determination of organochlorine pesticides and PCBs in soil and sediment was developed. Accelerated solvent extraction(ASE) was used to extract 25 kinds of compounds, and SPE was used to clean up the extract sample. The analytes were separated and detected by gas chromatography combined with mass spectrometry(GC/MS). The method can be used in the routine analysis.
