Abstract: The analysis of ⁷⁹Se in high radioactive waste using a multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS) is described, Hexapole collision cell was used to remove argide-based interferences, which have always presented a problem to the measurement of certain
elements, such as Ca, Cr, Fe, and Se. ⁷⁸SeH was deducted from the measurement of ⁷⁹Se.
