Abstract:
A GC/MS-SIM method for the determination of dimethyl fumarate in leather and leather products was developed. The dimethyl fumarate was extracted from leather by dehydrous ethyl acetate using ultrasonic instrument, and then cleaned by neautral Al
2O
3 column. The quality and quantity analysis can be done at the same time. Under the optimum analytical condition, the recovery can get up to more than 85%, and the detection limitation can be reached at the level of 0.1 mg kg
-1. The method is simple, rapid, sensitive and accurate.
