Abstract: By using the internal standard method of spark source mass spectrometry,thirty trace elements in human hair have been analysed. We have also demon-strated a concentration ratio comparison technique which is used to identifythe common origin of hair sample from a mixed series and observe the diffe-rential between hair samples from different donors. The experimantal resultsagree with statistical expectation.
