Abstract: The sceening of abuse drugs in human samples has relevance in much of today’s society: employers, police and prison officials and forensic pathologists all rely on the accuracy of drug screening. This application presents the potential for the Agilent time-of-flight mass spectrometer (LC/MS-TOF) for the use as both a screening and a confirmation tool in one analytical run of 30 minutes.
