Abstract: The volatile oils in the Ziziphora clinopodioides Lam. were extracted by steam distillation method，and the volatile chemical constituents from the herb were identified by gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry(GC／MS)．67 compounds are identified，which account for 92.05% of the volatile oils．The major components are pulegone（51.26%）, isomenthone（18.33%）, piperitenone（4.08%）, piperitone（2.53%）and isopulegone（2.11%）.
