Abstract: Edwards rotary vacuum pump is a two-stage, oil-sealed rotary vane pump operating according to the rotary vane principle. In this paper, the working theory of Edwards rotary vacuum pump was described. On the base of practical use and maintaining, the contents required to check for maintenance daily were summarized. How to judge their familiar trouble and how to resolve them are described. Finally how to improve and at where to improve for the vacuum pump were discussed in greater detail.
