Tandem Mass Spectrometry Analysis of Total Saponins of Sapindus mukurossi

Abstract: The total saponins of Sapindus mukurossi were analyzed by tandem mass spectrometry. According to the reference, the molecular weights of 11 saponins were determined by positive and negative ions. Furthermore, seven acyclic sesquiterpene saponins were detected. On the basis of the known compounds, the possible structures of the seven acyclic sesquiterpene saponins were speculated by tandem mass spectrometry.
